I am so interested in starting my own business of cosmetic laser services in the Northern Virginia area. Fairfax county is where I’m going to be. How do I hire laser technicians for my new business? I am not and MD but have a Masters in education. It’s my understanding I don’t have to be an MD to have such business. But I am not a laser technician and was wondering if I should become one. My main interest is to have a cosmetic laser services in a small office to start with. Do I need a business plan? If so, who would you recommend? Other tips for new people such as myself?

So many questions! I will try to answer. You will need a medical director to open a medical spa. You may want to train as a Licensed Aesthetician if you would like to perform many of the procedures in the facility yourself.
